So, are you true NEET /jp/?

What will When They Cry 5 be like? What kind of setting could it have? What characters will turn up, possibly as new versions?

I don't see Lambda and Bern having time to be fully resolved in Ep 8, so I think they could be the characters looming over the series.

It's probably not too long away now, Umineko is finished for Christmas and it'll only be a while after that until the next one, if he decides to do it.

I thought Shkanontrice was the only way to resolve this. Or rather, it was the only way I could think of. I tried to think of another way, and something a friend said struck me.

You have to think of it like a closed room style logical puzzle.

Only one of these combinations is possible -

George - Shannon
Jessica - Kanon
Battler - Beatrice

So; they must all be the same person no?

Think about the Love Duel and how similar it was to the "tests" the cousins got in Episode 4. This might be the clincher here.

The idea my friend had was that there was some kind of cat in a box aspect to the servants. I still don't fully understand what he meant, maybe that certain games, Shannon was there, and others, Kanon, etc.

But let's look at it this way. Let's assume the person limit is 17 from discounting Erika, rather than 17 with her.

Kanon and Shannon are present on the Island
Shannon and Beatrice are present on the Island
Beatrice and Kanon are present on the Island

1) No Beatrice
2) No Kanon
3) No Shannon

At the end of the game; everyone dies. Except whoever escapes to Kuwadorian by solving the epitath. Think about that.

If everyone else dies aside from the head, then only one of these couples are possible. If Maria wins the trials, none of them are. This alone is enough for an alternate solution but I want to go further.

Even though the first series was pure garbage, I really want to see how they handle Bern going into full-on troll mode...if they screw it up I'll never forgive them.
