I just read chapter 4, 5, 6, and a little bit of 7 with 07th mod and I think it has ruined the experience for me.
The backgrounds completely ruin the atmosphere and make the town seem unlivable and the voice acting is shit too. I went from liking these characters and Hinamizawa to hating them.
Is there a mod that only adds the console sprites and nothing else? It's too late to read with the OG sprites now because I hadn't used them when I started and they look too different from what I am used to. I hope you can understand that the console sprites are adorable and moreso than the steam ones.
