She would be applicable of course, but getting into D&D power levels Cirno quickly find herself in the same niche she is in Gensokyo, impressive on paper only to be quickly overshadowed by insane wizards with the ability to crash the economy or wish for you to permanently die or summon a Tarrasque at will, or ARE a Tarrasque.

On the other hand, since she's technically classless and inexperienced, there's nothing really stopping her from joining a sorcerer's school and graduating into a professional magic user, and then training to become the strongest ice sorceresses the planes have known. She might have low intelligence, but she's already literate which allows her to overcome the biggest hurdle a Low INT character normally has when trying to learn magic.

As for GFW, the novelization shows that it wasn't as lethal as the games implied, being an exaggeration on her end. They were all following spellcard rules, and had tea at the end of it, no mess involved.

Now I kind of want to play a Cirno-type character in a game.
