Marine's character is proof that the Catholic teaching never died down in her subconscious. One is born from sin, onto sin. Through God, all is forgiven. That is the central thesis behind Augustine Catholicism and also the most important part of Sister Marine's character.
The point being, Marine's sexual character is obvious based on taboo. The enticing sexual attraction comes from the exciting breaking dogma, a sexy nun.
But for this transgression to occur, there must be a dogma overseeing it to begin with. This is the opposite of, say, a "modern" liberal priest making tik tok videos about how "being gay is ok", even though it is contrary to his religious ideology.
The point being that it is not denial of sin, but acceptance of it, that leads to redemption. The murderers of all murderers become sanctified in their understanding of their crime. Marine playing a sexy nun is not just a caricature for commercial gain via controversial theming, it is a piece of experimental iconography that showcases man as his basest.
Shrouded by the terror & awe of true belief, Marine dejects idolatry in her blasphemy. The ultimate asceticism is brought into the world via hedonism, Dionysus and Apollo both tune in to watch her stream.
Sakura Miko being revealed to be Buddhist instead of Shintoist would be a much bigger blasphemy.
