I would ONLY recommend duo if you're having trouble with the hiragana or just really need that gamey-fication rush, or some external use of keeping up with how many days you are actually studying, otherwise drop it or use at own risk, DONT PAY FOR IT. It's a waster.

As much immersion per hour/per week you can. If you can during your summer vacations, go to japan for a month or two. vacation is fine but a class will do wonders. and when you're done ploughing jk fishes, KEEP READING!!!
