I love their cute little interactions in CoLA. They are absolutely PERFECT together.

I don't.

Human yet in inhuman, abnormal yet normal. They were hated or distrusted by most of their own kind, unable to truly get along. She is the only one who can possibly understand him and he is the only man who can do the same. If ZUN ever decided to have more meaningful scenes with them together, I think without a doubt that it would be easy to do because of the backgrounds he's given them. After reading CoLA, I can see it happening naturally with how Sakuya fancies him and is the only girl who does not mind his overbearing talks, and even engages along with him. The shopkeeperxmaid theme gives a very antique feeling that I like.

I also like how Rinnosuke is one of the few people who likes her subtlety as a maid and is also one of the few who can recognize her elegant behavior which he wordlessly respects. There is so much potential between the two of them that it's frustrating. I know ZUN does whatever he wants, but I wish he gives them more scenes together since they work so flawlessly well. You could even say "perfect and elegant." If they were given more development, I don't doubt their relationship would flourish. It would make for a nice story, don't you think?
