Hololive got over. It's not just Pekora. Nobody is working as hard as they used to. It all started going downhill around this time last year and when Gen5 debuted their initial impression they were giving was true foreshadowing: nobody wanted to do so much as stick a tow out of their comfort zone. It hurt them and it hurt them enough to make them change their minds. It's a mindset not exclusive to hololive. It happens to musicians in bands, comedians, or any routine stage performer. Sometimes you drive to the show and you really don't want to go on stage tonight. You'd rather be anywhere else. Not a single member of the beatles wanted to be playing she loves me or yesterday when they were 30.

tl;dr: You can't be passionate about your hobby forever. Especially if you make your hobby your job. Don't shit where you sleep.
