I just looked up every mythology term I didn't know while reading it. I don't recall having much trouble at all when I went through it and I learned a lot about Japanese folklore to boot. I actually found it to be quite interesting.

The language it uses is actually very easy with a few exceptions from the less prominent characters and the plot is simple enough to follow. Overall I found it to be very enjoyable and I look back on it with fond memories even now.

However it also gave me some of the best fap sessions of my life, so I might be a little biased.
