Oh, it's you again. You don't seem to know either how to pronounce youkai or don't know English grammar. Youkai starts with the same y sound as in "yodel". Yes, sometimes y is a vowel, but this is not one of those times. It's a consonant. When a word starts with a consonant you use "a".

And not all youkai are human-eating evil monsters. Sekibanki seems like one of the more well-behaved youkai. You don't need blessed or holy items to cause them pain, either. If you're mean to the banki then I'll fight you.
