Hey there /jp/, I'll start off by saying that I'm not a HUGE VN fan. I still love a good story anyway, and I am looking for a new title.

My babby's first VN was Saya no Uta. What I disliked in it was the sex scenes. I did some research, looked at the top ranked without sex scenes, there was the obvious Umineko or Ever17.

I am looking to start Ever17 right now, is it worth it? How long is it? I started Clannad after watching the anime because I really liked it, but holy shit it was like 450 hours to complete.

So yeah, I know I'm stupidly late to the party, but all I have to say is, "Ow, my fucking head..." Managed to figure out the 2017/2034 division using the metric asston of info provided by You's route, which led to strong speculations about the involvement of Cure and cloning.
