I think you just generally stay away from VNs with a lot of slang. Even though I don't use ATLAS, I sometimes have to drop a VN that contains too much slang, because I'm not used enough to the language to get it.

Pic related, I've wanted to read this for a while, but it's just too much of a struggle to understand most sentences.
