desu I feel it's for the better. Not less popular but I feel it lost its novelty aspect. It's part of the western internet culture now. It's part of the landscape now.
Imo that's why new releases don't raise as much noise as UFO did.
I dunno how to feel about that. Nothing will get as exciting but then again loathed how annoying the western touhou fanbase could be on 4chan

I love Alice as well. I actually was introduced to touhou with the "Marisa stole the precious thing" flash. I guess that's the lonely character with blond hair.
