No H!P girls have gone into AV and typically have a better and diverse career upon graduation than most in the idol business, but obviously that is very dependent on the girl and her ambitions and skills.

Japan tends to chew up and spit out girl entertainers much quicker in Japan and more often in a crueler fashion (Hi-Burn is what I term it, very much connected to their endless fad culture).

But in many cases Musume girls have been pretty successful in staring on variety shows, doing radio shows, promotions, solo careers, advertising products, etc.

You could put Kago on that list but her history is so troubled and her reputation pretty tarnished after all the scandals she went through that she was open to doing all sorts of things during her "comeback"

Maki did a pretty steamy photo shoot recently but again after a number of extremely bawwwww pathetic family issues had occurred.

I decided to be nice and put up a schedule for seeing AKB in Anime Expo. Since the AX thread in Stage48 and Nihongogo will be pretty busy and spammed the next few days, it's going to be difficult to keep track of the schedule. This will be updated whenever something changes. All data here is gathered from the 2 forums, just put together nicely and without the need to search through pages and pages of the forum.

Also a reminder: learn the chants, claps, shouts, name calls, glowstick calls. The hardest is remembering the 3 chants, the rest are relatively easy. AKB doesn't have any wotagei, just follow the hand movements of the girls. Check out live clips of the singles on youtube to learn the timings.
