Basically, to put this another way: Okina is most likely Ookuninushi, and Ookuninushi is confirmed to be Kanako's parent or whatever, but Okina is not confirmed to be Ookuninushi.

The wording in the tl is also weird here, would love to see the raw. Obviously, Kanako is not a "son"

Kanako is in fact married. It's just that Touhou being Touhou, Takeminkata had to chill in the NO GUYS ALLOWED corner over with Myouren and Youki when the events of MoF went down.
