2Dcon originated mainly from eroge, and the subject has always been closely linked to eroge. Back when /jp/ still actually discussed eroge, we had many threads on 2D love. I'm not sure when we started using it, but the phrase '3DPD' was used way before the Umineko anime and Katawa Shoujo Act1, the two events that brought so many /a/ posters over. "Waifu" is not just /a/ slang for 'the characters you like most this season'. There exist people out there who truly love 2D, and for a long time /jp/ has longed to reach this enlightenment of 2D love.

You can have your disgusting 3D discussion outside of idol threads. I've gotten used to it. But you will not trample over our 2D love in our own homes like a bunch of fucking normalfags. Get the fuck out.
