to be fair, Kasen clearly thought WAY too highly of Reimu's intelligence. She thought Reimu would be able to figure out that she'd hidden a fragment of the blade and that she could mix it with a fantasy seal to win when Reimu was too conflicted about why Kasen was evil in the first place to figure it out. Her plan probably would have worked just fine if she hadn't spent 49 chapters getting too close to Reimu. She kidnapped the wrong one. She got WaHH Reimu but if she'd kidnapped FS Reimu, she and the arm would have been murdered entirely.
