It seems you just gave an alternate explanation to the whole Parsee/Yuugi circus.

She sits on a bridge all day. She does nothing but watch a bridge. It's in her nature to watch a bridge. She's defined down to her most atomic existance by the act of keeping watch over a bridge. She's the Terminator of guarding bridges. It's what she does. It's all she does.
However, it isn't the only thing she can comprehend.

Needless to say, she gets a bit envious over the variation and freedom expressed by people passing the bridge, compared to how she herself is defined by and bound to one thing.
