My biggest regret from my time there is that I didn't spend a few more nights in a ryokan. They're not cheap, but staying in one there was truly heavenly -- the open-air bath with a view of the ocean and the surrounding town, the comfortable yukata, the amazing service and 懐石料理 (traditional Japanese multi-course meal, served to you in your room) -- I've never experienced a more relaxing time in my life. Here was my room.
