What is exactly that なんて supposed to mean?
Are you supposed to fill the gap between those two sentences with your imagination?
I feel like it doesn't hold up grammatically, am I right? Is this a good representation of how contextual spoken japanese is like?

I mean, I think I understand what he's saying perfectly, but somehow I feel like I should have to do less effort to understand.
