Thats why I have to wonder if she was committed to burning the surface world, or was just not herself and mentally unstable from absorbing the Yatagarasu not long before encountering Reimu/Marisa. I also wonder just how the Yatagarasu changed her mentally, both temporarily and permanently, and if it just filled her head with so much shit all at once that it had bad side effects. Maybe she had to fight over the will of the Yatagarasu in her head? If she really wanted to destroy Gensokyo it would be easy to do so at her leisure, because its not like anyone could see it coming. But I also thought Orin was a good indication of what kind of person Okuu really was through.
