This class of youkai is not interested in the average human, and only pays attention to equally strong youkai or humans with special abilities.

However, when ones with power clash, both sides are aware that it can't possibly be settled.

To counter this, before the battle, rules are decided and a formal battle often takes place.

By fighting with these rules, even if one could continue after losing, they must admit their loss.

Once that is done, the other side will not pursue it further.

That is the wisdom of youkai who have lived long.

The reason she doesn't feel oriental at all is because she's a Youkai. Yes. Youkai moe.

By the by, I think that 10 out of 10 people would read the level 1 barrage 萌風 as moekaze.

Wonder if a Youkai would come out. Like in my room, or my workplace.
A shrine maiden is fine too.

magic. The author himself doesn't know exactly what is it.
