I think it's about 10 years to the day since I gained the courage to go back to high school and officially drop out and spend all my time on /jp/. Maybe 3,700 days and all of them the same. This hikkikomori problem started in 2008. Wasted a whole school year in my room pretending to be homeschooled. A very stupid existence. If only I had been able to gain the courage to speak to people anywhere else. I want to become normal and have friends and get married and have kids but I guess this wont ever happen. Had this typed up for two days before posting. I still get anxious posting anything personal unless I am very drunk. Trying to stop binge drinking and smoking. At least my hikki problem is as bad as it used to be. To the other long term cases here, how are you doing? Have you experienced other severe issues that didn't seem related but you probably think they are?
