Toutetsu's a much safer bet than what I was thinking:
If you're an honest to god vorefag there's a good cure for that, it's called Rumia. Ran wouldn't let her kill you, but there may be some trauma, there may be some feeling in your limbs you'll never get back, there may be some scars that wont heal. While Eirin is a masterclass surgeon she's not a miracle worker. Rumia doesn't understand the concept of restraint.
Though in the ideal case you'd already be terrified of it to begin with and she'd appreciate that you'd have a sense of caution. You're in Gensokyo, these things happen and presumably one close call is all it takes. You'd only let Ran get as far as she does because you trust her with every fiber of your being and have faith you'll still be okay at the end. Fear comes from uncertainty.

On a different topic, with them having a past in the mob I wonder if Toutetsu actually ate anyone as part of punishment. Like a glorified garbage disposal for turncoats or others that wronged them. Would they have had any catchy roundabout terms for referring to it? Like "put him in the icebox" and they lock a dude in a walk-in freezer or vat of ice water. Did they pluck the feathers off the eagle spirits before disposing them?

the most annoying part about sex with Ran is having to ignore the muffled Taotie sobbing in the background. We're not even near the Animal Realm. I don't know why I can always hear her.
