I think the good ending is a "Keiichi remembers all routes" deal, although I've only seen comments about it, not a video or screencaps, so can't say for sure.

Although the routes had more shipping stuff than OG Higurashi they still had plot in the background, like Oishi popping up with the stuff about the curse, Shion going crazy in Mion's route (although she doesn't manage to replace Mion) and also an original (attempted) murderous Satoko plotline.

The Takano plot is somehow completely sidelined though.
