You're definitely right about Riho. She's got a ton of potential and, of course, all the vocalists get better over time.

It's just that Ai was really something special. She was always note perfect, with a trained voice. The other girls have nice voices that sound great recorded, but live they sometimes flounder. Then again, they are singing while dancing which is stupid hard so just the fact that they are able to carry a tune speaks volumes about their talent.

This is true. I think the development phase of the Eggs is very important. Personally, I think induction has been a bit premature lately but the kinda frantic cycling of graduating members in MM make it necessary, I suppose.

Pretty much exactly what I intuited from her recent escapades. I actually threw on 'Riot Girl' yesterday and nostaligia'd a bit. "Bouken Desho Desho" has held up remarkably well in terms of pop music.
