Now that we are talking about this, what is the best way to transcode a BDMV to achieve 1080p and 60 fps?

I use ffmpeg. Normally, I'd use yadif filter with default settings to deinterlace the original 1080i signal, but the output would still be 29.97 fps, right? I need to use a interpolation filter on top of yadif to achieve 60 fps?
