To be fair, I don't think he's furry in the traditional sense we think of furries. I know the 4chan view of what qualifies as furry is very lax so you can use it as a insult.

But in my mind 'furry' basically means the whole culture of it, only really being interested in pictures of anthropomorphic animals and as a artist that basically means practically if not all your pictures are of those furs.

Felis just seems more like he draws the characters qualities to fit their true nature making most of them monstrous. Only a portion of his art looks kind of furry, but those are usually the characters who are beast youkai. His usual style beyond that seems to be more the traditional cute face moe look.

Of course, I can't be sure because it's been a while since I've gone through his gallery and I can't read his moon rune comments section or whatever. But I'd be surprised if he was furry in the western sense. More just creepy jap.

Felis Ovum pictures aside, I wouldn't figure you'd get that much crossover between furry interests and /jp/ interests. Otherwise we would get more around here like everyone else does, they seem more preoccupied with western cartoons, Disney and the like.

Felis can do not-too-monsterous from time to time. He just seems to prefer to go for the creepiest interpretation he can draw most the time.
