I'm considering taking classes in Japanese. I believe I have good reason to learn the language, and plan to do so. It's just that I'm not so sure about the course ...

It's suposedly an intensive variant and covers two levels, whatever that means, in 44 hours, which start at the end of September and last until winter.

It's just that it costs quite a lot, so I'm not sure, is this worth it? Will I get anywhere with the language in this time? At least a good ground?

Anyone have experiences with such things?

Yo /jp/ I'm looking to get into Japanese dramas. I have no idea where to start. I want something along the lines of like a mystery drama or perhaps something in the feudal japan era. I'm not looking for a soap opera or anything like that. Just something with a good story that isn't completely based on awkward relationships.

Can you guys recommend anything?
