so I've been steady with this really cute (and athletic) girl for about a year and have found success introducing her to amine, something she rarely goes out of her way to watch. Recently I really wanted to get into VNs again but she tends to dominate much of my free time. I decided, why not have her try VNs with me? It would be the perfect test. If she can't handle going that deep into my hobbies with me, than we probably can't survive in a relationship.

Suffice to say I've been having an awesome time with the VN Chaos;Head and my girlfriend.

I know its along shot but anyone else have similar success stories that seem to defy the norm? Mention what VNs you introduced. Or if you ever wanted to introduce a girl to VNs which would you pick?

I'm from /a/ and don't really come around here too often, but I've got a few questions that I think you guys would be better at answering than /a/. It's not really anything big but I figure it's more of a /jp/ topic than /a/.

What's a good site to purchase anime related things (posters in particular)? I'm aware of hobbysearch and some others, but I was wondering what you guys use. In a lot of "post a pic of your room" and shit threads I see a shitton of moemoe posters on about everybody's walls (a lot of them aren't even full sized posters, but rather look like they came in magazines.)

Also, I'd like a full sized poster of mai waifu, but she's not really a popular character, so is there somewhere I can get something like that custom printed or anything? Please don't suggest I do that shit where I tile a bunch of small pics to make one large pic.

I'm beginning to feel like I really wouldn't mind a life as a hikikomori living along the outskirts of Akihabara. Buying and selling things on the internet to sustain myself, living in a small, cheap, apartment with a cozy kotatsu and a laptop, while heading into Akiba every now and then to pick up some figures and other recreational accessories. Does anybody else agree that being a hikky there would be less shitty than being one here (in the US for me)?

Also, are gaijin generally less discriminated against around Akiba, since they're all otaku too?
