You're forgetting that Satoko's goal here is to keep an eternal life within these loops. She isn't using them as a tool for something else like in the anime, and happened to like it, from the start her intention is using this power for her own happiness, with the tragedies being more a power fantasy for her (Now, she's the one controlling fate, rather than getting pushed around by it)
