Sanae is possibly the most tragic character in Touhou’s entirety. Her promiscuity was born from several factors beyond her control, but nobody ever stops to consider this and dismisses her as just another slut.
The reality is that poor adjustment to life in Gensokyo resulted in her feeling the need to seek validation from the locals in the most degrading of ways, having to turn to prostitution to even be acknowledged as a part of society.
Additionally, she was raised by a couple of dykes who were too busy scissoring and/or engaging in domestic violence to ever pay attention to her problems and continue to rule over her life, forcing her to act as a mascot to their shitty shrine all the while treating her like garbage.
So before you spam about how she’s a disgusting whore, take a step back and think about why.
