*farts in your face* Do you think if this game gets made it'll be as big as KS (assuming it's at least of the same quality) or has the market changed so much since then that something like this would be dead in the water without some twist or something equally marketable like with DDLC. *dry humps your leg, rubbing yellowish precum on it* Personally, I think if KS were made today, I doubt it wouldn't have gotten nearly as much traction or following as it did back then. Although given DDLC's massive popularity, especially with the mainstream crowd, it may have paved the way for other western VN's to fill that niche that has now seen a massive influx. Although that interest is dwindling, this concept, if executed well, could be the next big VN here in the western world.
