Perhaps she was a pokemón trainer. The Toriningen are the trainers that challenged her, Poniko is her former self and Monoko and Monoe were her friends.

Her pokémon died in a battle which caused her such stress the only thing she could do was confine herself in her room. Now even in her dream the past memories haunt her endlessly.

While on the topic of good, does anyone know if Yume 2kki and flow are good? Also, do either of them make references to each other? I played Yume Nikki, but now I'm not sure which fan game to play.
