This is probably too much depth for a thread like this, but I'll give the reasons why I like her so much in relation to the story.
She essentially represents the diminutive kobito (inchling) race with her appearance in DDC. When the playable character approaches her, she tells her about the kobito's struggles-- as no one would be their friend or ally as they are so powerless.
How weak? She uses a sewing needlefor a sword and a ceramic cup for a helmet.
Yet, this girl had an intense willpower and was ready to turn the power structure of the entire world upside-down to right the wrongs of society and protect the weak. Was it morally wrong? Unlike many other incidents, it's ambiguous or up to your own opinion. She was joined by many of the other youkai that people see as friendly or neutral, including Wakasagihime, Sekibanki and the tsukumogami. While Seija exploited her and the mallet for her own ends, I don't think Shinmyoumaru did anything intentionally malicious with her quest. Shinmyoumaru Sukuna wanted to improve the world the only way she saw how.
Shinmyoumaru is weak, but Shinmyoumaru is strong.
