Born in a village where no one can see
The entities that are obvious to thee
What do I mean by such a dramatic turn of phrase?
Well the people amongst you, they see only in grays
A spectrum of two, with many shades in between
but no color to be found, not like you’ve seen
The reds and the purples and the greens and the golds
They can’t see any of it, so you are told
Because when you try to explain such a thing that you see
These people amongst you, they cry and they plea
“Witchcraft! Wizardry! This child is bad news!”
They rise up in anger to shout and accuse!
“We must destroy that which we cannot understand!”
“Suppressing all the unique ones in this land.”
And I say, what has this person, you, in this place done?
Most of you all see colors, you know how it’s run.
So in a case where you don’t feel or see what other people claim they can
Maybe it’s not so much of a boogyman
There are senses all of us have never experienced
But here we are not equal and some quite outdistance
Others take a separate route
deficient in senses all throughout
But you see that is the recipe for all of God’s children
some of us more animal and some more magician
