Here's the thing, people don't want to see the button nose on their characters because Crabman tends to really shit it up in a massive way.

Remember Polt? It was actually speculated she was a standard MG sort of like a Manticore where she just has the furry lower arms and legs. Then her official profile came out. Mind you, nobody took an exception to the fact that she had a nose before.

What did we learn? She has full body fur. She has multiple sets of nipples, and there are Kobolds in the MGE world that have multiple sets of breasts. She has fur that's so fucking thick in her pubic region that iron shears can't even trim it.

Then Crabman does a Kitsune in Ninetei. Once again, button nosed and full on fucking kemono. Like, I'm actually kind of biased because I find Cu Sith and Cait Sith pretty "cute", but not dickable. But you're fucking delusional if you don't think there hasn't been some subliminal programming to Crabman's shit taste.

Quite a lot, there's a huge difference between Renewal and vanilla RO.

In my short experience with it, I'd summarize it as an attempt to modernize/simplify/streamline RO. I don't like it personally
and view it as some strange, cheap attempt to widen the audience for a game over a decade old while alienating their old players.

Level cap is now 150, stats are 120.
Formulas using them and the properties of stats are VERY different.
Magic weapons actually add mATK now and equipping shields reduce aspd.
Experience penalties introduced based on your relation to monster level (you need to be close to their level or you get close to nothing).
Cast time now has a two components, a fixed portion and a variable portion. The fixed (20% of original cast time)
portion is very hard to reduce, while the variable portion is reduced easily by DEX/INT/gear/skills/etc.
In other words instant casting as it existed in the past with 150 dex is gone.
Monster stats/aggro/spawns have changed here and there.
A streamlined quest chain called The Eden Group has been added, which basically points you were you need to
grind mobs appropriate level via kill quests and gives you a equipment and experience rewards for doing these.

I think that's it. And of course, there's more content like gears, monsters, towns/maps, etc.

Hey; I've only played a few VNs, but they seem like a really cool way to convey a story. I'm and artist and a writer, and was consider accumulating a group of people interesting and producing one (the story isn't pre-set, but I'm thinking it will have horror elements and lots of options, hence why I'm not attacking it myself).

So, I'm asking for the help of more experienced readers. What do you like/dislike to see in a VN? Things you find interesting, non-interesting, features you enjoy to see. You could be helping build the foundation of one.
