News:
-Decisive Battle, Operation Shou-Gou! Interception in the Battle of Leyte Gulf (Part 2) will begin on Feb 16. E-1 will be a patrol mission at Palawan Passage, and E-2 based on the Battle of the Sibuyan Sea. There will be 7 new ships, four of which will be implemented with the main operation. Amongs the new ships are a "lucky" british DD, and a new class of DEs drawn by Shibafu. This will be the final event of KanColle's Phase 1 and will be a large scale event with 7 maps. The 3 EOs will be added on the night of Feb 18 with a live maint.
-Zuikaku Kai Ni will receive a Decisive Battle Spec Mode CG for the event.
-Musashi will receive a Kai Ni with the start of the Winter event. She will come with 5-slots as it was originally mentioned in a 2013 interview.
-The December ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment are the FM-2 Wildcat fighter-bomber, 46cm Triple Gun Mount Kai, 12cm 30 Tube Rocket Launcher Kai Ni, and Saiun (4th Recon). Some of the rewards will be implemented in the coming winter event.
-The Kagerou-class will receive Kai Ni starting in the spring and a few may already be implemented before Phase 2. Yuugumo-class will also get more Kai Ni this year.
-6 new quests have been added with the Feb 5 update. The 46cm Triple Gun Mount Kai and 12cm 30 Tube Rocket Launcher Kai Ni can both be obtained through Akashi's arsenal.
-A new AA Rocket Barrage can now be used on BBV, CV, CAV, and AV that are equipped with the 12cm 30 TRL Kai Ni during the opening air strike. If succesful the ship using it can nullify the airstrike against herself. Success rate varies by ship type and Ise-class have a higher success rate. It only affects the opening strike and not the shelling phase.
-New Valentine's CGs have been added for Kuma, Ushio, and Kamikaze. There are new Valentine's voice lines for several shipgirls. Previous years' Valentine's CGs and lines have returned. Eve of the Decisive Battle voicelines have returned from the Fall season and new ones have been added for several shipgirls. Hourly lines have been added for Hatsushimo.
-There's new furniture available in the furniture shop. The max number of ship/equipment slots has been increased to 360/1540.
-There are plans for expanding ASW with equipment from the land of black tea like ASDIC and hedgehogs.
-The 5th year of KanColle will see something "interesting" regarding foreign ships.
-New Akizuki and Matsu-class destroyers are under plans to be added.
-KanColle will migrate to HTML5 and Friend Fleets will be implemented in the 2018 Spring.
