The sailor type often looks cheap, maybe they're all cheap cosplay sets. But I don't think the real thing is much to look at, either.

The sweater type uniform is best for me, but I'm no expert on this.

Also I'm someone who goes crazy over cat ears. It's all pretty irrational in the end.
