That seems more like Queen Slime territory honestly. Shog object mimicry is more or less limited to inanimate objects; if they want to imitate someone else, they have to do it "themselves." Extra bodies like that would result in splitting and therefore a daughter.
Queen Slimes are the ones who can have multiple more-or-less independent bodies due to a "defect" that prevents them from splitting.
