- Meat and sex? You forgot alcohol and material wealth, too. But seeing as one of the buddhist deities (bishamonten) drinks and attracks treasure, you seem to be making a mountain out of a molehile. - Being stuck perpetually living the same existence has drawbacks short-sighted taoists cannot fathom, clearly. Maybe go have a word with Mokou about this one. On the other hand, reincarnation allows you to progress spiritually while ensuring your perpetual existence (in one form or another) and requires no effort as it is an integral part of any being's existence. All the perks, none the problems.

IMO Miko would win since she's got all kinds of hermit Tao bullshit magic, Byak's only got brute strength. Miko can just warp and teleport here and there so Byak's punches can't touch her

I really hope the new book clears this matter up. Or even better, I hope the next game is a Phantasmagoria game which focuses exactly on this subject, to determine which religion is the best.
