My regional cuisine (eastern Canada) is salt beef or cod boiled in a pot with potatoes, carrot, turnip, cabbage and sometimes pease pudding or figgy duff. It is served with gravy and mustard pickles. Black tea is served after dinner with biscuits.
Absolutely not.
Probably not. She might enjoy the salt cod, but boiling the vegetables and pudding in with the meat ruins them. The black tea would obviously be a pleasant experience for both of us though.
