I agree however I understand that's just how the things went, I'm relatively new to AKB48, only getting into them from mid/late last year. But I felt Mayu coasted on being cute and was rather recluse or void of a creating and/or bringing out a personality to really make her stand out. Now she's more active with her emotions and expressions and even being co-host on Utage. I feel she's really come a long way in her career. As much as I want her to achieve #1 and by reasonably putting in what I can to generate her some votes I will kind of understand if she still doesn't make it.
