A good bit of the quiz tournament in EP8 got me pretty emotional. I don't think the manga additions were as good as the VN originals there, and of course the music and voices really help carry the weight and emotion more. Everyone saying farewell to Ange and Eva and asking that she never forget them almost made me cry, and it's been a long time since any piece of media has made me cry.
Now if only Ange could've understood what Battler was trying to tell her then and the rest of EP8 didn't have to exist...
