I'm still happy with it (apart from the constant need to recharge it). Layton turned out to be a longer game than I thought it would be, too. Almost 20 hours played and not even 50% done. At this rate, I won't even be able to finish it before OoT3D comes out.

In other news, I have been messing with MeGUI again for the past few days after not having touched it since we last talked about it (almost 2 years ago, I think). This time, apart from having no clue what the hell I'm doing as always, I'm really determined to create 60fps encodes of all my IVs. Anyway, I stumbled upon this neat deinterlacing script called QTGMC. Needless to say, the results blew me away when I first tried it. It takes a while on my machine (about 4 hours for 1 hour of SD video with the "Slow" preset and multi-threading enabled), but the wait is more than worth it. So now that I'm finally able to produce somewhat-decent looking 60fps encodes, I want to go ahead and give my whole collection this treatment. However, since there are still a few things that confuse me and I want to make sure I'm doing everything right, I'd like to ask you if you could have a quick look at a short 30 second clip I encoded from the intro of Fukasawa Yuuki's "Ceremony" (an IV of one of my favorite gravure idols of all time, it's a shame she isn't more popular and has only released 3 DVDs in total) and tell me if there is something fundamentally wrong with it or if I should improve anything. It doesn't look too bad to me, but your trained eyes see more than mine.
