I decided to do it with none of the units you mentioned. People really are complaining too much. Its not that hard. DoT effects also work on depleting the 8f boss's HP. You can burn down a substantial amount of HP while breaking his barrier. Besides actually having stuff to do damage to the boss, you literally just need any healer. Letting this guy hit you really doesn't matter until it gets down to under a minute.
