Look around your character instead of focusing on your character. The only time your red dot should be your prime focus is if it's a tight squeeze. Also bomb if in doubt. Death bombing is nice and all but unless you get it 95% of the time, you will waste your bombs cause you died. Lastly, there will be some characters you are absolutely garbage at and you hit a brick wall. Play some other games and take a small break. UFO, SA, and EoSD are considered the hardest so it might be better to switch games if you hit that wall and go back after you get better.

I only joined OriginsRO because everyone from Cookie was migrating. From what I recall, nobody on CookieRO outright said renewal was casual shit or any similar sentiment. Most moved so that the playerbase on /jp/ wasn't split between two servers, or that was the original intent. I think Origins is a shitty server, but I'm sticking around because the jpsies in the guild are great and I have a good time every time I'm on. Despite what the post I'm quoting suggests, everyone is very nice and helpful.

It'd be cool if more people could join Origins, but I understand everyone wants different things and having no 2-2, trans, or extended classes is pretty limiting. Can't be helped I suppose.

I would have liked this game better if the main character was also a female elf, but a degenerate futa type descended from an exiled hated family so all the insults from the 2 girls would still apply. Then having an ending where the mc herself gets in a "ryona+raped senselessly ending" would be cool. The average "faceless human male scumbag" just isn't interesting.
