I'm writing these as a read the posts, so sorry about that. And I'll admit, I had a change of heart. I went from thinking they completely lack lyrical depth to thinking that there's minor interactions from one line to the next.

Then how exactly should I define the genre lines then? By how much light it refracts when placed in a vessel of water?

You clearly seem to be fishing for this so I generally like music that shows the skill of the artist in question. I mostly listen to Math rock, IDM, Trip hop, and melodic black metal.

The lyrics are by far not my only gripe. The chords are repetitive and weak. The synths are poorly chosen and clash with each other and the guitars. Even if I ignore the piss poor lyrics, I'm still left with a technically defunct band.
