Yeah, I know that, but the time in invisibility is short as is, and you have to Solid-snake your way past a mob of youkai, meaning you need all the invis time you can get.

I think that besides the cast of SA and Marisa, the cast of TD has the most pictures with Koishi in them. Koishi with anyone is adorable, so I think that it's just something they do to show how adorable the other cast members are, kinda like people who do PR with babies/puppies/kittens. Not that I'm saying any of the TD cast is bad, mind you.

She was the first boss it took me over 100 tries to beat, her backstory pulls at my heart strings, she'd be a blast to hang out with if you could get her to hang out with you, that is, and her power cements her at the top echelon of youkai, with the likes of Suika, Yukari, and Yuuka.
