That kind of thing messes with your brain.
In my case I read Higurashi and fell in love with Rika.
Then I listened to some Umineko OST among which Bern's character song seizensetsu. And I saw some false spoiler picture of Battler holding Bern's scythe.

The whole time I was thoroughly convinced Bern could do no wrong and was actually secretly a very good person. I made a mental note of every time the story made a point of how great at "acting" a villain Bern was.
Even though it didn't turn out like I thought it would, I still think Bern did no wrong and am completely on her side, and believe in the one truth.

Throwing someone into hell won't necessarily entertain her. Show her a possibility that she's never seen before. Stump her with a grand mystery.
Bern isn't a demon, she's just a reader. Write a story and dedicate it to her.
