It's possible they'll eventually release a remover for that DRM. Like a year after the game gets release for example. After such time no money is to be made from the game anyway.

In the past they did it for some games, Tasogare no Sinsemilla for example. Although the wording with the pach makes it sound like the DRM only worked for one year.
